About Me
I am a graduate Student at Iowa State University in the Department of Statistics, and my major professor is Dr. Heike Hofmann. I received my B.S. in Mathematics and B.A. in Chemistry at Indiana University Bloomington.
My Academic Research Interests:
Business Analytics, Big Data, Word-of-mouth, Text Analytics, Topic Modeling, Natural Language Process(NLP), Data Visualization, Web Scraping, Record Linkage, Statistical Learning, Bayesian Statistics
My current working projects and papers focus on scraping online text data and text analytics techniques for its evaluation. When I can, I enjoy writing codes and developing application on RShiny and Andriod as a hobby.
Before being a graduate student at ISU, I finished my military service as a Korea Augmentation to the US Army (KATUSA). I served as an unit supply specialist, liaision officer, and brigade Sr. KATUSA under the 2nd US Infantry Division stationed a Camp Hovey, Korea. It was a "Second to None" experience.
